Greetings from the Principal

As the Principal of this college I feel honored and privileged to be the head of an educational institute where every stakeholder is a learner and every day is an opportunity to learn and discover new things. We look over selves as a community of learner, where everyone learns including our teachers,parents and non-teaching staff.

Our pivotal emphasis in our institution is an all-round personality development. This is achieved by providing contextualized study of new NEP-2020 curriculum, which is an amalgamation of diverse activities focusing on developing skill based courses, multi-disciplinary curriculum with unique blend of digital technology.

Since its inception in 2011, the college has come a long way and recently shifted to the new building. The campus and the class rooms are well equipped with CCTV cameras, modern teaching aids i.e. interactive boards,podiums, projectors, modern desk. The collage has emerged as the popular academic destination for the students and achieved its distinctive place in academic pursuits.

As rightly said by Rabindra Nath Tagore, “The highest education is that which does not merely give information but brings our life in harmony with all existence” We as GDC Kalakote community, continuously strive for educational excellence. Our teaching learning process is constantly evolving to adapt well with modern technology so that we can successfully create global leaders.
